Tour1

Happy New Year! Our first guest this year is from Singapore. Toyama Castle Park was covered with fresh snow. Japanese Garden area didn't clear the snow, so it was a little bit hard to walk around. Oh, but it was fun!

This is nice photo spot, Chitose Gomon gate.

Next we visited Hie Shrine, the most famous shrine in Toyama City. We drew Omikuji, or fortune slips. My fortune was "Suekichi", uncertain luck. About "academics"…steady effort leads to success!

Because of New Year's holiday period, many facilities were close. Luckly the Glass Museum was open. Instead of Matcha & japanese sweets, we enjoyed coffee and cake set. After walking around in the cold,it was very nice to take a break with hot coffee at the museum cafe.

Kansui Park, coverd with snow, was beautiful. We found some snow men in the park and a family was making "kamakura", snow hat!
